Just what I wanted for a new iPhone. A special “Thank You” to artist ‘Serge Averbukh’ for the addition, at my request, to the design of my Navy rating, the lightening bolts (sparks as they are/were called) in the middle of the CPO insignia. I asked; he came through….When I use my phone, it brings back fond memories of my 20-year Navy career…. Thanks Serge….
This is a one-of-a-kind piece of crocheted art created entirely by hand to form an illustration of the circle of life, the above and below, decay feeding the living, and time. It features a rainbow trout and the fish's skeleton, oaks in summer and autumn, bees feasting at native flowers of the Bay Area, and California mushrooms.
I'm very slowly working on a lifelong project: I'm trying to draw every one of the approximately 5,000 named mammal species in the world. Here, you can buy prints and other products featuring mammals both well known and surprising. Besides drawing mammals, I've worked as a museum exhibit designer and an illustrator. I'm also a mother and the winner of Best in Show in crochet in the New Mexico State Fair, 2018.
