Description
The erosional landscape of the Ah-Shi-Sle-Pah Wilderness in New Mexico is completely otherworldly. Many of the hoodoos are sculptural masterpieces, carved into the Cretaceous rocks by water and wind over long expanses of time. These badlands have yielded a treasure trove of dinosaur, reptile, and mammal fossils, but it is the landforms and the solitude that draw me here.
