One of my very first acrylic paintings, this was done in about 1973 in Marin County, California. It's a huge work, in the slightly looser style that I had at the time as a young and green artist. Being in my early twenties combined with the incredibly invigorating air of the San Francisco Bay may have had something to do with the energy of this painting.
