Oh, believe me Linda, she was. It always amazed me when she'd jump the almost 4 feet and then settle in for a nap. But, being a feral kitten, she never has lost that survival instinct. Even now after 10 years she is very wary. But she is comfortable otherwise and now is too plump to make the jump! Thank you for your response. Cheers, Max
