The sun and the moon have forever been a source of wonder, inspiration and mysticism, representing different things in different cultures. Common to most interpretations is a polarity: male and female, yin and yang, day and night, light and darkness, power and nurturing, and so on. Here I framed and blended a photo of a stone carving (part of a fountain on the Island of Menorca) with a variety of distressed textures. Original photograph of stone carving by Mona El Falaky.
