Description
These lions were sunning themselves at the Los Angeles zoo one day when I snapped their photo, which then became the inspiration for this painting. I was in desperate need for storage for prints; I made a trade with my dear friend, Betty, my lions for her flat files. The lions were with Betty for 18 years, but when she passed away, her husband returned them to me as she had requested, and that's where they are to this day.
