This image is a black and white rendering another color photograph on this webstie. The original photo was made with a tripod mounted camera with an ultra wide angle lens with a narrow aperture and a neutral density filter. The exposure was about a minute long, which not only blurs the waves and sea into what looks like a smooth and misty sea surface, but also resulted in remarkable color shifts and subtle tones. When converted to black and white, the same image takes on a mysterious and almost etherial feeling. Since I couldn't decide which version I liked better, both versions are offered.
