This is the birthplace of Gilbert Stuart in Saunderstown, Rhode Island. He was, arguably, the greatest portrait painter of George Washington. This is one of two mills on the property, both still functioning. It's a beautifully landscaped area and the changing leaves of the New England fall was an added bonus.
