In addition to the banner, I am adding this more permanent recognition of its FEATURE on the homepage of A TREE OR TREES IN BLACK AND WHITE. I try mightily to feature only images that would be at home in a juried competition. No doubt about this image fitting that bill. Do consider entry in a juried exhibition. CONGRATULATIONS!

Rick Maxwell replied:

From the heart, thank you, Calvin. I really appreciate you taking an interest in my photographs but making this particular one for all to see is...special. Thank you! Peace, Max

Great sense of cold. Makes me glad spring is here!

Rick Maxwell replied:

I erroneously titled this work, 'Last Throes of Winter.' Boy, was I mistaken. Since I took this photo in early March we've has snow, sleet, a bit of ice. Needless to say I am looking forward to my favorite time of the year, SPRING. If it ever arrives. Cheers, Max

Looks really cold.

Rick Maxwell replied:

As far as snowfalls go, this one was actually close to 32 degrees with no wind. It was a heavy, wet snow which made photography great because the snow stuck where it landed, hence the nice full snowtrees. Cheers, Max

What a beautiful image Rick! Excellent work! LF

Rick Maxwell replied:

Thank you, Gregory. Snowfalls are so beautiful and picturesque they make their own portraits. I just take their pictures. Thanks for the L/F as well. Cheers, Max
